Overview

Responsible for system administration, electronic data transfers, and data analysis related to various internal departments – in relation to ad hoc and scheduled file transfer processes.

Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

What You'll Do

  • System Administration of MOVEit Automation and Transfer processes for all departments.
  • Design file transfer solutions for various claims system applications.
  • Responsible for reviewing, testing and proofing file transfer results and data elements.
  • Writing procedures using various reporting tools for a variety of projects.
  • Create documentation and train fellow employees on data transfer processes.
  • Self-educate on various software products and claims systems.
  • Co-ordinate and maintain processing logs to ensure completion.
  • Communicate with various vendors, carriers and clients to achieve expected data transfer results.
  • Manipulate downloaded data files for carriers, vendors, actuaries or corporate marketing data.
  • Analyze, research and audit data elements to ensure the integrity of data and related projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience as a Technical Analyst with data transfer applications, database query tools such as PostgreSQL/SQL Manager, and command of SQL syntax is required.  
  • Degree in Computer Science preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Access. 
  • Ability to take the initiative to successfully complete multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Possessing a high degree of self-motivation and flexibility in working hours required.
  • Ability to work directly and seamlessly with all levels of personnel within the organization and also with third party vendors directly. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, Property & Liability and Employee Benefits claims administration preferred.

Compensation:

 

The target salary range for this position is $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Position will start in office full-time and will transition to hybrid work environment after the training period is complete.
