Overview

Assist the HCap Talent Acquisition team in evaluating resumes, scheduling, conducting interviews and managing the full-cycle hiring process.

Keenan is offering an exciting opportunity as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in our Torrance office. It will be a hybrid position in which the Recruitment Coordinator will assist the Human Capital Talent Acquisition team in evaluating resumes, scheduling/conducting interviews and managing the full-cycle hiring process. This is a hybrid position in Torrance, CA.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with recruiter, hiring manager and candidates.
- Conduct 30-day, 6-months and 1-year check-ins with new hires.
- Create and update Recruiting Benefits Summary for candidates.
- Code and process temp invoices.
- Source, phone screen and fill entry level hiring requisitions.
- Work with Temp Agencies to fill temporary requisitions as needed.
- Update, create and maintain the Employee Referral payments and requests with Payroll.
- Prepare offer letters, new hire notices and work-from-home agreements.
- Conduct employment related research and assist recruitment team with methods of sourcing of qualified candidates.
- Review, create and maintain job descriptions and post them on the Applicant Tracking System and job recruiting sites.
- Assist recruitment team with customized screening and initial contact of applicants to determine qualification and interest level.
- Administer online assessments, Omnia’s and background checks.
- Provide support and coordination of recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.
- Serve as a resource for recruitment policies, benefits, procedures, and practices to supervisors, Human Capital staff, and others.
 
MINIMUM SUGGESTED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in recruiting and talent acquistion required.
- Must show strong interest in the recruiting and talent acquisition field.
- Must have the ability to build rapport with candidates, and professionally represent the Keenan brand.
- Must interface effectively with all levels of applicants, employees, management, and co-workers.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multitasking, team environment.
- Prior experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools is preferred.
 
SOFTWARE: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems. Adept at accessing business data from the Internet when required.
